Helpdesk Technician, Tier I

PBSI Technology Solutions, an established IT services and telecommunications company located in the Tri-County area is looking to hire a full-time Tier 1 Helpdesk Technician to support our client's general IT & network needs.

We offer a fixed work schedule with no evenings or weekends. Normal business hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Our company offers a great professional work environment with average employee tenure of 10+ years. Compensation and benefits package are negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Answer inbound support calls and walk the client through troubleshooting procedures.
  • Connecting remotely to a client's PC/network.
  • Document each client interaction in our CRM.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1 2 years minimum experience in the IT industry.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Windows 7, 8 & 10, Office 365, PC Hardware & peripherals
  • Highly organized with strong customer service and phone etiquette skills.
  • A background in telecom, AV or surveillance is beneficial but not required.
